-Introduction of scheelite concentrate:

Tungsten is a rare element which includes tungsten concentrate and calcium tungstate concentrate. The content of the tungsten in the crust is only 0.8% Tungsten is a kind of lithophile element that mainly in the form of tungstate in pegmatite and hydrothermal deposits. There are approximately 15 well-known tungsten ores. Two of them are main series that are scheelite concentrate and wolframite concentrate.

As our sheelite concentrate, it is a kind of ore with a granular stone shape, white yellowish color and fatty luster. It's shape is biconical crystal which is pretty huge, the tip of it is transparent and deep orange. It has symbiosis relationship with calcite muscovite and black cassiterite. The scheelite concentrate and calcite are fluorescent. The color is slightly purple when we heat or irradiate it with ultraviolet rays. Scheelite concentrate is the main raw material for tungsten smelting.

-How do we produce the scheelite concentrate:

During the process of beneficiation for scheelite concentrate, the alkalinity of ore pulp will be reduced and the sulfur contained minerals are not strongly inhibited that makes the result of it is difficult to recover the sulfur in the bismuth-sulfur flotation operation for the sulfide ore system in main process. The high content of extra sulfur will affect the economic benefits of scheelite. The tungsten is difficult to defoam and control the floating before acid leaching, on the other hand, the desulfurization effect after acid leaching is way better. In order to improve the quality of shceelite concentrate, we put the scheelite concentrate in mixing tank and add the adjustment agents (CuSO4, BLR, water glass, Na2S, butyl xanthate and terpineol) to mix together. We can obtain high-quality scheelite concentrate after acid leaching that has grade of 65.35% and 1.44% sulfur content.
